Mass Shooting at Willie’s Bar and Grill Leaves Four Dead, 20 Injured in South Carolina

A tragic mass shooting took place late Saturday night at Willie’s Bar and Grill on St. Helena Island, South Carolina, leaving four people dead and at least 20 others injured.

According to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived to find several people with gunshot wounds. Four of the injured are in critical condition, and others are being treated at nearby hospitals.

Witnesses said the bar was crowded when gunfire broke out, causing people to run for cover in nearby shops and houses.

The names of the victims have not yet been released. Officials say the investigation is ongoing and have asked the public to stay calm and cooperate as they gather more details about what happened.
