Fuel Prices Climb Across Maritimes Ahead of Labour Day Weekend

Drivers across the Maritimes are seeing higher fuel prices just in time for the Labour Day weekend.

• Nova Scotia: Gasoline is up by 2.3 cents, now 147.9¢/L, while diesel jumped 3.5 cents to 149.0¢/L. In Cape Breton, prices are slightly higher, with gas at 149.8¢/L and diesel at 151.0¢/L.
• Prince Edward Island: Gasoline stays the same at 150.2¢/L, but diesel rose 2.3 cents to 157.3¢/L.
• New Brunswick: Gasoline increased by 1.3 cents to 147.9¢/L, while diesel went up 2.5 cents to 152.0¢/L.

Across the region, diesel prices are rising more sharply than gasoline, adding extra costs for many drivers and businesses.
