പകൽസമയത്തെ താപനില 0°C മുതൽ 1°C വരെയാകാം, പക്ഷേ കാറ്റ് കാരണം തണുപ്പ് വളരെ കൂടുതലാണ്. ചില പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ അതിരാവിലെ -17°C വരെ അനുഭവപ്പെടാം.

Cold Weather and Strong Winds Hit Southern Ontario

Southern Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area are experiencing very cold weather with strong winds. Wind chills are making temperatures feel as low as –16°C in many places. Cities like Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton, Oshawa, and Niagara Falls are all under a cold weather advisory.

Daytime temperatures may be around 0°C to 1°C, but because of the wind, it feels much colder. Early mornings could feel like –17°C in some areas.

Stronger winds are expected on Friday evening, with gusts continuing overnight. The weekend will also stay cold and cloudy. Mississauga may see winds up to 40 km/h on Saturday, with temperatures near 2°C, and around 7°C on Sunday with more clouds.

Residents are advised to take precautions and stay warm if going outdoors, as the cold and wind will continue through the weekend.
