വോയ്‌സ് ഓഫ് ഖുറാസാൻ എന്ന ഓൺലൈൻ മാസികയിൽ അയാൾ എഴുതിയിരുന്നു, മുൻ ഐസിസ് നേതാവ് അബൂബക്കർ അൽ-ബാഗ്ദാദിയെ പ്രശംസിച്ചു, മറ്റുള്ളവരെ ആക്രമണങ്ങളിൽ ചേരാനോ നടത്താനോ പ്രേരിപ്പിക്കുന്നതിനായി അക്രമാസക്തമായ ഉള്ളടക്കം പങ്കിട്ടു എന്ന് അന്വേഷകർ പറയുന്നു.

ക്യൂബെക്കിലെ ലാവൽ, ആൽബെർട്ടയിലെ എഡ്മണ്ടൺ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലെ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലേക്ക് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ ഓൺലൈൻ പ്രവർത്തനം നിരീക്ഷിച്ചു.

Alberta Man Accused of Making ISIS Propaganda Under Fake Name

Canadian police say an Alberta man, Robert Floyd Rendall, used the online name Sulaiman Dawood al-Kanadie to spread extremist propaganda linked to ISIS-KP.

Investigators say he wrote for an online magazine called Voice of Khurasan, praised former ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, and shared violent content to encourage others to join or carry out attacks.

His online activity was tracked to areas in Laval, Quebec, and near Edmonton, Alberta.

Rendall has not been charged with direct terrorism crimes but faces a terrorism peace bond, which allows police to restrict his actions if they believe he may be a threat.

Police say the case shows how extremist groups use online platforms to spread propaganda and radicalize people worldwide.
