Canada–India Tensions Rise Over Espionage and Separatism Claims

Relations between Canada and India have become strained in 2025 after both countries made serious accusations against each other.

A report by Canada’s intelligence agency, Canadian Security Intelligence Service, claimed that India was involved in spying and interfering in Canada’s internal matters. These allegations have added to growing concerns within Canada about foreign influence.
