ആകാശപാത വീണ്ടും ദുഃഖത്തിന്റെ സാക്ഷിയായി: കാനഡയിൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ വിദ്യാർത്ഥി മരണപ്പെട്ടു

കാനഡയിലെ ന്യൂഫൗണ്ട്‌ലാൻഡിലെ ഡീർ തടാകത്തിന് സമീപം ഉണ്ടായ ഒരു ചെറിയ വിമാനാപകടത്തിൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ വംശജനായ ഗൗതം സന്തോഷ് മരിച്ചു. കിസിക് ഏരിയൽ സർവേ ഇൻ‌കോർപ്പറേറ്റഡിന്റെ വിമാനത്തിൽ പൈലറ്റും ഗൗതം സന്തോഷും ഉൾപ്പെടെ രണ്ട് പേർ മാത്രമേ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നുള്ളൂ. ദുഃഖകരമെന്നു പറയട്ടെ, ഇരുവർക്കും ജീവൻ നഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടു. അപകടത്തെത്തുടർന്ന് ട്രാൻസ്-കാനഡ ഹൈവേ താൽക്കാലികമായി അടച്ചു. അടിയന്തര സേവനങ്ങൾ സംഭവസ്ഥലത്ത് വേഗത്തിൽ ഇടപെട്ടു.

ടൊറന്റോയിലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ കോൺസുലേറ്റ് അനുശോചനം രേഖപ്പെടുത്തുകയും സന്തോഷിന്റെ കുടുംബത്തെ സഹായിക്കാൻ കനേഡിയൻ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരുമായി സഹകരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.

Flight Training Turns Fatal: Another Indian Victim in Canada

Gautam Santhosh, an Indian national, died in a small plane crash near Deer Lake in Newfoundland, Canada. The plane belonged to Kisik Aerial Survey Inc. and had only two people onboard — the pilot and Santhosh. Sadly, both lost their lives. The crash also led to the temporary closure of the Trans-Canada Highway. Emergency services responded quickly to the scene.

The Indian consulate in Toronto offered condolences and is working with Canadian officials to help Santhosh’s family.

Earlier this month, another Indian, Sreehari Sukesh from Kerala, died in a mid-air crash while training to be a pilot in Manitoba. Two small planes from Harv’s Air flight school collided during practice, killing two people.

Canada’s Transportation Safety Board is now investigating the plane crash in Newfoundland to find out what went wrong.
